About Chris

Hi, I’m Chris. For the past 16 years, I’ve been lucky enough to help clients live fitter, healthier and happier lives as a personal trainer and health coach.

I started my career in 2003, working part-time as a personal trainer at a popular chain gym. When I wasn't doing that, I was in college with aspirations of being a doctor of Clinical Psychology. A few years later, I graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Psychology from Seton Hall University.

That year following my graduation, I continued working as a personal trainer but also did some postgraduate work. I was as a recreational counselor at a residential residential drug and alcohol rehab facility for adolescents. This rewarding experience made me realize just how much of an impact exercise can have on someone – not just physically, but also mentally and emotionally.

In 2007, although I was lucky enough to get accepted into Widener University’s Clinical PsyD program, I turned it down. Instead, I elected to accept a position as a Fitness Director for one of New Jersey’s largest hospital-affiliated fitness centers. Over the next 4 years, I successfully managed 3 centers within the same company.

After 4 years of management, missing working one-on-one with clients, I stepped down from my management position and started my own private coaching business, Believe In You Now Fitness, LLC. Since then, I have conducted nearly 10,000 coaching sessions. I also started spreading my health and fitness message by speaking at different local organizations and companies.

Since 2017, I have served as the Director of Education for one of the largest hospital affiliated fitness and wellness companies in the country, where I am responsible for the in-house training and education of nearly 400 personal trainers.

I aim to bring the knowledge and experience I've acquired over the past 16 years to as many people as I can. Staying true to this goal, in 2019, I published my first book, Crack Your Code: The Ultimate DIY Guide to a Thinner, Happier Life.

In my spare time, I practice Martial Arts, love to bowl, would live at the beach if I could and am a member of the Cranford Rotary Club. I live for the time I get to spend with my friends and family- most especially with my beautiful wife and our 2 year old son.
